Customs Trade Specialist - Remote Opportunity
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Trade Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a Customs Trade Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for the entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers. You will provide exceptional customer service, process import-related documentation, and ensure compliance with all international import and export regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate documentation for US Customs and Government Agencies
- Provide impeccable customer service to importers and internal stakeholders
- Process import-related documentation, including data entry and classification of goods
- Ensure compliance with all international import and export regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipment documentation
- Collaborate with internal staff, departments, and external partners to deliver high levels of service
- Perform entry reconciliations, reviews, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 6 months of work experience, with 12 months of industry experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment
- CCS and/or Brokers license preferred
