We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Engineering Manager to join our team in Florida, USA. As a leader in our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in designing and building large-scale, cloud-native, event-driven responsive applications that provide a 360-degree view of our customers.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop new microservices that support our rapidly growing data hub, build services for real-time data processing, and improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our data pipelines. You will collaborate with architects across organizations, drive innovation and process improvements, and mentor junior colleagues to help them grow in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers to design and build large-scale, cloud-native applications
• Develop new microservices to support our data hub and real-time data processing
• Improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our data pipelines
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues to help them grow in their careers

Requirements:

• Proven experience building large-scale distributed applications with object-oriented designs using Java-related stack
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Ability to design and implement flexible, scalable, secure, and highly available solutions
• Experience with NoSQL technologies, web service and API development, and big data technologies
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to weigh the pros and cons of different solution options and drive decisions
