Job Description:
As a Residential Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck to provide prompt and courteous delivery and removal of large containers. The driver will be responsible for carefully navigating residential environments, checking vehicle condition, and ensuring the safety of load transportation.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate vehicle in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
2. Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each trip.
3. Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
2. Legally eligible to work in the United States.
3. Must have a Class B CDL with air-brakes endorsement valid in the state of hire.
4. One year of relevant work experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
Educational Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
