We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our Parking and Transportation team at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to our students, faculty, and staff, while also contributing to the overall mission of our institution.

About the Role

The Shuttle Driver position requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and teamwork. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing transportation services to students, faculty, and staff on campus and within the city of Golden
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, while also complying with all relevant safety regulations and state laws
  • Operating vehicles with specialized equipment, such as wheelchair lifts, to transport and secure passengers with additional needs
  • Maintaining assigned equipment and supplies, including citation computers, radios/cell phones, and mobile printers
  • Performing routine vehicle maintenance, such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water
  • Providing customer service at the front desk, answering phones and customer emails, and explaining parking rules and regulations

What We Offer

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary range of $19.23 - $22.40 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of driving experience, including driving passenger vans, school buses, and/or equivalent service transportation vehicles
  • One (1) year of demonstrated customer service experience, preferably related to driving or transportation
  • A valid and current Colorado Driver's License at time of application
